 Being saved means your sins are forgiven and wiped away, and you are declared righteous before God. This redemption frees you from the power of 

sin and death.

The Foundation (Walk the Walk): 

Your walk begins with acknowledging divine guidance and is marked by integrity and a commitment to live a holy life, inspiring you to grow in righteousness and purpose.

It is a Christian religious rite that symbolizes a believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience commanded by Jesus in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), emphasizing its significance and divine purpose. 

Meaning and Symbolism: 

It is an outward, public testimony of a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, helping new believers feel recognized and appreciated for their commitment.

The act of being fully immersed (or dipped) in water and then raised is a living symbol of the believer's 'death' to their old way of life and their 'resurrection' to a new life in Christ.
